This booking secures one of our Pre‑Launch January After Dark sessions and your eligibility to enter 40 Over 40.
Note: While many women choose to purchase images from their session, there is no obligation to do so in order to be considered for the exhibition.

Photoshoots take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Once you book, we’ll be in touch to arrange the date and time that works best for you. You are also welcome to call the studio to reserve your session and can also arrange for you to visit the studio and meet our staff over good Coffee or Tea prior to booking your shoot.

The 2026 Exhibition & Grand Prize (Worth over £1,000)
Your Choice: Participation in the 40 Over 40 competition is entirely your choice and is only discussed after you have seen your final images.
Every woman who secures a January session is eligible to enter one of her images for the 40 Over 40 Exhibition. The details of the Grand Prize will be announced in early 2026.
The Selection: Clients may choose to submit their favourite image to our "Long List".
The Final 40: An expert, female-led panel will select 40 images to be featured in our November 2026 exhibition at C-View, Doncaster.
The Legacy Gift: If selected for the exhibition, your featured large-scale (30-inch) gallery print is gifted to you as a lasting keepsake of your participation.
The Grand Prize: From the final 40, one participant will be chosen to receive a Grand Prize worth over £1,000.
Your Consent
You remain in full control of your imagery.
You may withdraw your consent to take part in the competition or exhibition at any time prior to the awarding of the prizes.
After Dark may use your selected exhibition image for promotional purposes.
Please note that withdrawing consent will remove eligibility for any prizes.
